Idees en desordre

Today was a frustrating day. I'm not gonna speak about some wankers that tried to bulls**t me with technical problems (and who I was seriously considering to slap) but just about my work. I have different projects in mind and I'm waiting for clearances. And meanwhile, I have to wait or to take pictures of official events.
I looked at some old pictures I took a few years ago. I don't recognize myself. More than ever, I want to show people, faces, eyes, smiles. More than ever, i want to take low light pictures. Dark streets, reflection, night ambiance, etc... and therefore, although I'm learning a lot, official hand-shaking is not my favorite assignment and it is sometimes frustrating to have to wait.
I spent some time this evening looking at the work of who is now one of my favorite photographer, Ziv Koren. If you have the chance to have a look at the pictures he took at nights during military operation in Israel, it is really impressive.
Meanwhile, I enjoy, my rooftop, in the middle of night and think about the movie "The Reader", that you should watch.
Take care

I guess that's part of the work...
Koren's pictures are indeed amazing! Really impressive how he captures the moment and play with light and shadow. An interesting POV that we'd wish to see more often... Thanks for the discovery

Yep... part of the job.
I'm glad you like his pictures... I'm seriously considering buying one of his books. Expensive but seems very nice.
