Title to sell

I was a little bored with "I have to save the world baby!" and therefore, I let Jack in his box and I followed of one of my closest friend's advice (actually, I should say now, one of my ex-closest friend) and started the series Californication.
3 episodes later, I'm still in my bed and struggling to go to work. Yes, in this beautiful place called "In the middle of nowhere", weekends do not exist. A few shot to take and to process and I can return to California. My dear (ex) friend, I hate you ;-)! Vade retro, Satanas!

P.S: Weekend in Darfur is theoretically on Friday and Saturday.

Je veux je veux je veux!!!!

Today I'm bored. Curfew from 19H00 till 07H00, stuck inside the compound during the day and again and again the same food. I think it's time to be childish.
I want:
- An iPhone
- My new camera (I've been waiting for it for more than 2 months now).
- Nice food (e.g. some sushis or tapas from Sevilla).
- A room were my roomate wouldn't switch on the light at 05H45 every morning (I wake up at 7H).
- A volleyball or badminton field.
- Some poker mates.
and a big hug (No Mom... I'm not talking to you :-) )

P.S: Meanwhile, rebels and soldiers of the Government of Sudan are fighting and the number of refugees is increasing. Yep... No comment

Save the cheerleader, save the world

I finished watching the last episode of Heroes (Season 3). I know, I always said "No series". But my life after work is more than limited (especially in the last days) and therefore...
I recommend the first season, maybe the second but definitely not the third one. But it's logical, to save the world every season must be quite difficult... maybe they should call Jack, who saves the world every season in just 24 Hours... Yes, it's my next series (although I just have the first season).
Take care

Sheraton mon amour

Unsurprisingly, today was a crazy day. A private jet to go with the big boss to Uganda, tough pictures to take and a press release to send directly after. But honestly, it was great and I learned a lot! Now, after a beer and a nice meal (Yahooooo!), I'm resting alone in a double bed room, clean and silent. I would love to have such a day more often.

I love my job

- Hi, have you received a call from X ?
- No
- You're going today or tomorrow morning to Uganda to follow Mister Y's visit.
- ... OK.
- Do you have your passport with you?
- Yes
- Ok. I give you more details later. Be ready
- Ok, no problem.

My plan for tonight and tomorrow was my laundry (knowing the washing machine is broken, it takes a long time). Il n'y a que les cons qui ne changent pas d'avis.

Projects

I finally got some new equipment (including a new huge display) and we are starting new projects. It sounds very exciting, challenging and it will certainly be a great experience. It is not always easy to convince people to be photographed and to take them in a natural pose but I'm definitely learning a lot.

Let's now hope that the situation will remain stable and allow me to realize all those projects and ideas.

P.S: I love my Mac !

Portraits

A few years ago, a friend of mine told me "What people takes a picture of is a good representation of what they are interested in". At that time, I took mostly pictures of landscape and sunshine. Thinks changed a little bit since...
